Room 5's Paper plane Challenge

Today we had a fun time measuring paper planes on the court. We had to make sure that our foot was touching the yellow line on the court. We marked this line as the take off line. Each student threw their dart and Miss Paton used her chalk to mark the landing point. We found out that Piripi threw his dart the furthest with a measurement of 11.16m and San Tat's dart flew the shortest with a measurement of 2m.

The graph of how far the planes went was a nice touch. My class tried the same but was with normal paper planes. The planes didn’t fly as well as yours according to the graph. Was your topic flight or did your class just want to try it? Did you see it in a book because it was a cool idea!
