Room 6 & 7's Trip to the Supermarket

On Monday September 21st, the Senior Syndicate went to Pak n Save Glen Innes. Rooms 6 & 7 went together. They learnt to read labels on packet food. They had to make comparisons on every day foods and occasional foods. This was part of the Heart Foundation Food For Thought Programme. At the end of our trip the class got a $60 food voucher that would be put towards a healthy shared lunch. It was a fantastic day out and it provided lots of valuable learning.
