Today we visited Auckland Zoo. It was a trip for the students in Years 0-6. It was a free trip. Our Zoo admission and bus ride was sponsored by the Warehouse and Ritches Buses. At the start we walked round the zoo. We checked out Pridelands and saw the African animals. Then we did the Orangutan trail. At 12:30pm we met our guide Laura who took us on the exotic tour. On our tour we saw the Orangutans, Spider Monkeys, Galapagos Tortoises, lizards and the tigers. As we were in the tiger viewing area, a female tiger called Molique sat right up against the glass. It was incredible. It felt as if she was waiting for us to greet up. A fantastic experience.
